This building is scheduled Category C under the Auckland City Council District Plan (Sheet G08 Building 06). The original plaque is missing and indicated the age of the building and (if it is recalled correctly), also the original cost price. This is an unusual example of a substantial poured concrete structure, with later reasonably sensitive main entry porch and rear lean-to additions. The building fronts on to Grahame Breed Drive in Three Kings Reserve and has been used for many years as a band hall.
