This tram shelter, now a bus shelter, built 1907 is located on Mt Eden Road at the entrance to Maungawhau/Mt Eden. Note the gabled hip roofing. The building is of considerable architectural interest, in anticipating many features of the later domestic Californian Bungalow period (eg. exposed rafter ends and plain decorative porch framing pieces).
